So I have noticed it seems that Apple is moving after from the Lucida font that was on their older models and moving toward Arial. Do you think that Apple will use that in OS 10.7?

OS X currently uses Myriad Pro throughout.
Myriad Pro is also used extensively in Apple's advertisements and marketing.

oops my mistake...anyways have you noticed a slow shift to that Arial? I personally like it better (looks a bit more professional)

Its not Arial, its Helvetica (easy mistake, Microsoft didn't want to pay for the rights to Helvetica so they created Arial, a pretty good duplication).

But yea I'm pretty sure OS X has always used Helvetica as the standard system font, though I maybe mistaken on that one.

Ding dong you're wrong. The system font is Lucida Grande. However, iTunes and Address Book use Helvetica, while iCal uses Helvetica Neue. Oddly, iOS uses Helvetica and the line spacing is all messed up with the ascenders of g,j,y etc chopped off.

Edit-iTunes 10 is now using Lucida Grande rather than Helvetica which it was using in all versions prior to 10.
