Hi Everyone,

Thank you for reading, and apologies if this isn't the right place to post.

We have an ActionScript 2.0 recording program that connects to Flash Media Server 2 and records camera and mic input.

On Windows PCs we have no problems. But for videos recorded by some Mac users, the audio seems to drop out for a few seconds at a time, several times during recordings that are about 90 seconds long.

We're trying to work out why this is happening and whether anything can be done. It affects users on the latest version of Flash Player, as well as older versions.

Our ActionScript code sets the mic sample rate to 22kHz.

I have come across other forum posts to do with this problem, but no definite solutions...

Has anyone encountered these sorts of issues when using your Mac to record audio through Flash Player?

We're organising some proper test Macintosh systems (we mainly deal with Windows PCs), but I was wondering if anyone has any info, or maybe a link to an article?

Thanks for your time,

Ajay
