Ever since upgrading to Mac OS 26 (and 26.1), I have been getting random wi-fi drops and even lower level of connectivity (two arcs in the wi-fi icon instead of the usual three). A quick search revealed that others have had his problem as well. I did find some rather technical solutions involving use of Terminal to basically erase and reconfigure. Before I head down that path, checking to see if 1) others on this site have had similar experiences, and 2) if so, what "solutions" worked or didn't work.

Thanks in advance for any input and insights

I suppose it would help if you state what router and what computer you have.
For me, my M1Max Studio is on WiFi for 3 years now and I have not noticed any difference, on the latest Tahoe.

Good point - Been using EERO wi-fi without problems for several years. Current Mac is MacBook Pro w M3 chip

I've had the same problem since upgrading to MacOS 26.1 and 26.2 on my MacBook Pro M1 and a MacBook Air connected to the Internet via Eero 6 (Model number N010011) which is a 3 unit modular router. We have nine other devices (including iPhones and iPads) using the same router, same WIFI network which all work fine with no drop outs. The Macs will drop the router connection for 10-60 seconds while the other devices work fine. Lights on the router are still blue, so I'm assuming the problem is with the macs. A real nuisance.
