Hi, I have just finished restoring a PowerMac 7500/100 (now a PowerMac 7500/200), and I am actually posting this from that very machine. It is running Mac OS 8.6. One thing I am really missing is a CPU meter of some sort - a simple numerical display that reads between 0 and 100% and shows CPU occupancy. Rather like MenuMeters, but for Mac OS 8.6. Does anyone know of such a thing? Thanks!

I was still using 7.5.5 and 8.6 as my main OS until 2002 and I really don't remember ever coming across any software that monitored CPU usage. If it exists, I sure haven't seen it. Wouldn't mind tracking some down though.

Well, perhaps I can help you a little then! I did come across "cpu-view" which you can get from www.macintoshgarden.org, that shows a small, real time updating graph, but which has no simple numeric mode. In general, www.macintoshgarden.org is a FABULOUS source for software for Mac OS "classic".
