Hey this is a query that has perplexed me for many years I would like to through to all the boffins out there:
Why does adobe flash player have such compatibility issues with Mac OS X (lion, snow leopard the lot). It just seems to lag, perform so slow cause crashes etc on Mac OS but when compared with windows performs fine, despite windows (on my partition) running at slower speed.
Ever since switching to Mac 5 years ago or so flash player has always seemed to hinder or be hindered by Mac OS, even though my Macbook is few years old it has been upgraded and the issues that were present when it was new are still apparent. I find it strange how seamlessly it works on my old windows partition: XP, 32bit 3GB ram vs 4GB Mac?
I know of the flash player incompatibilities with iphone/ipad though I would have thought adbe being multimedia company would have developed its products specifically for Mac OS which is most commonly used for multimedia, Logic, Final Cut, Photoshop etc.
Any comments and answers are welcome and would be interesting to solve this age old (for me
) question
Thanks Matt
