After a recent scare on my MBP, I decided to back up EVERYTHING to my OneDrive.

Documents I’ve always backed up but this time decided to backup the Photos file and Music files. But these 2 files wouldn’t move over to OneDrive. Are there any restrictions for them? I tried several times but failed every time.

What are the "Photos file" and "Music files"? Where are you finding these files? If you are referring to the Photos and Music folders in your "Home" directory, you can't move them to OneDrive.

Thanks Bigwaff. It is the folders you mentioned. I've backed them up to 2 external drives so thankfully have that assurance. It just would have been great to have them on OneDrive too. You can never have enough backups 😆

Something to consider... I use Arq to backup several Macs to OneDrive. OneDrive can be configured as a cloud storage location. Works perfectly.
