What are the new improvments on default mac os mail client ?

I have a few problems with mac mail on catalina.

1. When i copy a table from ms excel to mac mail ,it is not keeping the format i see in ms excel, does it have compatibility with mac mail in big sur ?

2. can i create tables directly in the compose window ?
