Mac OS features: “would be nice to have...”

I couldn’t find a thread on the things people would love to see in future updates or versions of OS X or beyond.

What features would people like to see?

Here's a few:

• Cut & paste in Finder
• MSN (and other IM’s) in iChat
• More control over Stacks (this is quite likely and hopefully will be dealt with in future updates)

Cut and paste files in Finder - can't be done. Can only copy and paste then delete the originals, or drag and drop.

I assume they mean like in windows where you can right click a file, choose copy and then paste it elsewhere... if you 'cut' instead of copy, it moves the file instead... its actually kinda useful

Oh and +1 for MSN support in iChat

can you use spaces independently on an external monitor also?
if not I'd love to see that...
meaning having spaces separately for my mb display and the external monitor I have hooked up to it at home.

to erase something from history could potentially be disastrous. did you forget the lessons we learned in back to the future? mess with the past, and you could endanger your own existence.

to get back on topic, it's nice that ichat supports multiple user accounts, but why couldn't they simplify things with just one buddy list?
