someone help me,,what the best os for my macbook pro early 2011?

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011)
Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphic Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB
HDD 320GB SATA Disk

You should be running the latest version, macOS 10.13.5 High Sierra.

You only have a dual core processor in that system, so you might want to think about at least putting in a SSD, in fact I would say that this is a necessity if you go to High Sierra. I also consider 8 GB RAM to be a minimum these days and the upgrade to 12 GB would not cost you too much, just add in 1 x 8 GB stick.

If you do not want to do these upgrades then I would suggest that you go no higher than Mavericks 10.9.

I hope it helps.

Hi prisstratton,
Can you mix and match memory in high sierra? I thought you had to add memory in equal pairs 2x 4GB or 2x 8GB etc.
If I could get by with 1x 4GB and 1x 8GB that would be righteous.
