Mac OS - High Sierra - Documents folder "excess of GB stored data" ?

Hello:

I am running Mac OS High Sierra.

I would like to ask, if there is a “special” Terminal command I can use to try to “fix” this issue?

The issue - Documents folder shows I have 89 GB of data.

However, the two (2) folders contained within the Documents folder - equal a total of (ONLY): 22 GB

What is going on?

Any tips / thoughts of how to fix this “error”?

Thanks for your time, and comments, and contributions -

Have a nice day,

Ed
