mac os pdf perview

I guess it is an old bug?? using 10.13, using a regular (NON 4K) monitor and found the pdf text is blurry. Same pdf same monitor with adobe reader looks razor sharp. No problem with the laptop screen (retina) though.

also in preview the pdf option "smooth text and line art" is no longer there.

The PDF rendering on macOS is kinda weird, mine has been doing it since Mavericks. It's pretty noticeable for some PDFs, some don't seem to be affected that much.

It is pretty bad. and I cannot disable the preview in safari either. sucks. on more reason to stay away from safari.
