MAC OS Reinstall

Hi again !

Please tell me one thing: if i havnt flash drive, witch comes with New Air (late 2010) - which wersion of MAC OS i need to install ? Only 10.6.4 ?
Is it specialy Air MAC Os or i can install Retail version ?

With any Mac you can install a retail version of the OS providing that that version supports the hardware—newer versions of the OS support newer hardware—OSX v. 10.1, for example, wont support the Air; you’ll generally need a version as new or newer than the computer you are installing on. The OS on the intall drive that comes with the Air will only install onto the Air, but is otherwise the same as a retail version. The minimum requirements of various Macs can be found at Apple’s online support.
