Dear All

I am new to iMAC world,and friend of mine he has got Mac OS Version 10.3.9 on iMAC G5.

I can not open safari if I double click it!!!!

He downloaded update (Safari311UpdTiger.dmg) for the already installed safari, I was able to extract Safari311UpdTiger.dmg to :

Safari311UpdUniv.pkg
Safari311UpdPPC.pkg

When I installed both of them nothing happen.

Then I read the quote below

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/17743

Operating System Requirements:
This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

* Mac OS X 10.5 Intel
* Mac OS X 10.5 PPC

1- Does that mean update above is not compatible with the version that I have got ?

2- Can I find updated safari for 10.3.9 ?

Thanks guys for your help.

Now when I double click the current installed it does not pop up!!!!

If I download the version that is compatible (1.2 Panther) with 10.3.9 will it fix the problem or it makes it worse ??

I downloaded version 1.2 and I installed , but still it does not work!!!!
