Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and caches

Hm where is file Extensions.kextcache and Extensions.mkext in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard? Without this files, I can't change Keyboard Layout (/System/Library/Keyboard Layouts) ... I need to delete all Cache files to change keyboard from qwerty to qwertz.

In Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger the files was in /System/Library.
