Hi all,

I need help with my macbook. Well I bought my macbook in Taiwan. All my applications are in English but the only problem is that my login window is in Chinese. Is there any way i can change it to English.

I've tried to go in System pref- International and change the language order but it still doesn't work.

Thx

System Preferences - Accounts - Login Options - Show Input Menu in login window.

Check that check box and when you get the log in window you will be able to change the language there.

I dont have any problem with the input language. It's the language that appears on the login window.

For example instead of username, there are chinese character.

Thx

open Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app)
type this code and press enter, you need to input your administoator's password

Code:
sudo /System/Library/CoreServices/Language Chooser
or
Code:
sudo /System/Library/CoreServices/Language Chooser.app/Contents/MacOS/Language Chooser

and then you can change language of login window
