I'm hoping others out there are using ExtremeZIP and may be able to help me out.
Our Mac Users have some files that contain illegal characters in the Windows sense of the word. In ExtremeZIP 5.3, you have the option to set a policy with a pop-up that says something in regards to the illegal characters...please change, etc. Cool, right?
Well the problem is, if you set that policy, a second box pops-up that says:
"You cannot copy some of these items to the destination because their names are too long for the destination. Do you want to skip copying these items and continue copying the other items?"
The file is 10 characters, so I wouldn't think that length is an issue.
ExtremeZIP says that is a Finder issue. That doesn't give me much to go on.
Thank you for your time,
Troy
