i m developing a application in which i required to access all disk available in machine and perform any operation like defrag drive .but i don't want to use external boot cd/dvd . instead i want to boot it with any other method like make a virtual drive and boot it after restart it comes in a mode in which all drive is accessible to my application. I am using apple script and qt in my application please provide any help in any technology if it is possible to boot mac OS in a mode in which all disk is available to perform any operation without a external hard drive.
