hey, my new iMac just arrived, but I was wondering...does the OS X DVD disk that comes with the computer include iLife 06 and everything else that came with the new computer? If I ever have to format and reinstall from the DVD, will iLife and all the other programs that came with OS X also be installed? Thanks!

Yes, the DVD should have the full install of OS X plus iLife and other apps. There are actually more apps on the DVD than what is installed. You can choose to install many other apps from the DVD.

If this is a new Mac (or new enough to have come with iLife at least), it should contain a 2-3 DVD set. The discs allow you to either do a "clean" install of OS X or install all the bundled applications as well.
