The past few days I've been using time machine for back ups on my external hard drive and also just putting other things on. Then a day or two ago I plugged it in and froze my entire computer. I help down the power button to shut it down and turned it back and then a message came up saying I must restart my computer so I did and this continued happening. I decided to just remove the external hard drive without properly ejecting it and my macbook booted flawlessly. Then when it boots up it has a message saying, "Mac OS X quit unexpectantly." If someone could tell me how to fix this or what to do that would be great! I really need the help.

Thanks in advance!
