Hi Everyone,

I am having some major issues, and can not figure out what the problem is. Maybe someone has experienced the same thing and would be able to help.

All I am looking to do is run Bootcamp so that I can set up Windows. Here is what I have done:

1. Went to BootCamp assistant. Start partitioning and get this error:

The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved.

Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again.

When I was at the Genius Bar, the associate told me to restore my hard and reinstall the OS X. I am trying to do that now and am having another issue:

- When I insert the Mac OS X Install DVD, my MacBook reads it and I am able to see it in Finder and also start using it. However, when I go ahead and try to complete the install, it requires the laptop to be restarted (one of the first steps before choosing language). Thats where the problem is. It will not load fully. It will just remain stuck at a blue screen with the Apple logo.

- I have also tried to insert the DVD, restart the laptop and hold C while its restarting. Same problem. Gets stuck at blue screen with Apple logo.

Any ideas to what is going on??

I dont have any problem ejecting the disc and the laptop seems to be functioning perfectly. Just cant figure out why it gets stuck when trying to reboot with the Install DVD in.

Thanks for all the help in advance. I am just hoping I can get some help without having to go back to the Apple store.
