Mac os x leopard 10.5 restore discs for 10.4

Hello everyone, my sister recently gave me her old imac. However, she only had the second recovery disc and, as fate would have it, I need to restore it, thus, I was thinking of buying the discs off of ebay. However, I wanted to ask a question first. The only discs I can fond are for 10.5, however, mein runs off of 10.4. Does that make a difference? I assume it would not, but I just want to make sure

Know that those gray restore DVDs you can get on eBay are machine specific, so they will not work with your iMac.
If you can get your hands on the retail version of Leopard or the specific restore DVDs of your specific iMac, that would work.
Also Apple offers to get you replacement DVDs for your iMac, which will be 10.4 and cost around 20-30€.

And if the iMac is an Intel machine you can get Snow Leopard for 25€ and use that DVD to make any kind of installation without the need of a previous system or any other Mac OS X DVD.
But iLife will not be included.
