Hello, thanks for reading this!
I am currently having a problem with my macbook pro 13 inch, mid 2010. Every time I play a game at a resolution of 1920x1080 on my external monitor, the game switches to 1080i instead of 1080p, resulting in a shaky screen. This happens with World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, 'swell as many other games. My question is: are there any fixes to this problem? can I lock the computer so it sticks to 1080p instead of 1080i? Can I remove 1080i from the known resolutions to remove this problem altogether? Another thing to consider is the fact that 1080i is the first available 1920x1080 resolution, so maybe the game chooses it for that reason?
Hope somebody can help!
