Mac OS X Partioning Tools for External Drives

I'm just curious what other Mac users use to partition external hard drives? I'm thinking I need to setup the drive as FAT32 in order to use it with both OS X and Windows.

Use Disk Utility, it's included in OS X.

One limitation to be wary of is that with fat32 you can not have a file that is larger than 4Gbs. May not be an issue for you but if for example you want to keep parallels HD images on there you will notice this problem.
