Today when i booted my mac (macbook pro with snow leapoard) everthing seems to be reset. My desktop experience, dock with all standard apps when you start you mac for the first time , firefox bookmarks are gone, itunes and other apps it like you start them for the first time. My folder like pictures still contain my pictures just like my other folders. Every mac setting is gone. I'm not able to use my secondary click with 2 fingers on my mac now i have to click just with tapping 2 fingers.

How could this be happening? Is this reversible or any explanation.
WTF :S:confused::eek::mad::(

As I was reading this, my thought was that maybe the active User Account is not the usual one you use. Maybe that doesn't make sense, ?

Problem Found, now i have to fix it

Ok

It seems i accidentally moved my library folder.
The Problem is now to replace the original library.
Because when i try to move the new library folder i can't.
And when i try to overwrite it with the old folder it not possible.

Someone and i idea/ The thing is it's strange that the library folder moved in the first place./

What OS version do you have? (It continues to amaze me that people post questions/problems without supplying this basic information!)

I have 10.5.8 and I cannot move my Library folder(s). Instead, the OS insists on copying them! So, this is curious. Now, I didn't actually go through with it, just dropped the folders back where they belong.
