I purchased my Intel Core 2 Duo iMac back in September 2006. I also purchased Apple support. When I received my iMac I noticed that it didn't come with Restore dvds.

Now its been over a year now... and I want to format my HDD and reinstall Mac OS X. However, I dont have the Restore DVDs.

I was wondering if anyone knew if apple charges for restore dvds... or if I could pick them up at a Apple store... (i have to stop by apple store to buy iWork 08). I searched apple.com website but was unable to find any information on Restore DVDs.

Thanks for the help.

Dude, what's with the font?

Anyway if you call Apple i think they'll ship you some. You'll have to pay for them but I don't think it's too much. If you'd told them when you got it you'd have been sent some for free but it's too late to expect free ones now.
