When is Snow Leopard coming to consumers? The site (apple.com) has said "in just over a year" for a while now, so, having seen the thread on the MacRumors homepage about the developers build, i was wondering how long it usually takes to roll these things out. Also, (this will show my idiocity to the OS X line) will this be 10.6 and require a paid upgrade, or will this be like 10.5.6(or 10.5.7/8/9...). The only reason I ask that question is because I know apple has never used such a similar "animal" to describe different OS's.

Okay...2009 is very general. That's 365 days. I'm thinking like if planning on buying a new MBP, is it worth waiting to avoid the $129 (or whatever) upgrade, or should I be expecting it in Q3 or Q4 of 2009?
