Hi,

I tried searching for a solution but I couldn't find one.

In windows I usually use "Tab" key to move the focus from one text box to another.

An example of this would be in google home page I enter my text in the search field box and double tab to move the focus to "I'm feeling lucky" button and hit enter.

How do I do this in Mac OS X? I notice shirt-tab/tab will move from one txt box to another but I am unable to get the focus on to the button and using my "return/enter" key to execute. I much rather do this than using my mouse as it is faster.

Anyone? Thanks

System Preferences > Keyboard and Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts ...

At the bottom is the option you are looking for.

"All controls" has to be checked.

off topic:

r.j.s. seems to snatch a lot of firsts from me. What a bummer. ;)

if your trying to switch windows in a particular application i.e safari, photoshop, or quicktime movie windows you can use cmd and tilde above the cntrl key on your keyboard (this might of changed with different hardware versions i cant remember the position of the tilde key in the latest revisions.
