I have a windows Vista desktop printer connected to a HP C4100 photosmart printer via USB directly to the printer. I am using a linksys router for my wireless network. Currently I have 2 other Windows XP laptops that are connected to printer with no problems via the wireless network. I am also sharing folders on my vista computer with the windows xp laptops. I have been able to connect my new macbook running leopard to the shared folders on the vista desktop, but have not had any luck connecting the printer.
Here is what I have tried so far:
1. Connecting via the IP address for the vista computer under adding printer in system preferences
2. I've looked online for this solution and it says often to look for it under the windows tab under printer settings for the workgroup. When I look there, I don't see anything.
Any ideas on what all to try next?
