Just wondering how many of you would like to see a version of Apples 'Maps' made specifically for OS X :)

Obviously the main program people would use is Google Earth, but I've thought how cool the iCal/Address Book integration would be on OS X. And of course, I'm sure it would run a lot smoother.

Part of iLife? :apple:

That would be kind of cool, but pretty useless. I mean, cant you just use google maps? I know that on most tablet pc's there is a Microsoft-made maps application thats multi-touch enabled, but there is no use for it considering that it's easier to use google maps/earth to type in a street address.

Brian Toth has already developed a suite of Google Earth plug-ins for Address Book. They enable a contextual menu that allows the user to select a Google Earth location, Google Maps map, or Google Directions to any address in the user's contact list.
