So, I recently reformatted my entire Macbook Pro. I have a OS X Partition, Windows 7 Partition, Ubuntu Partition, and a FAT 32 partition to share files between mac and windows.
Everything was running fine until I installed Ubuntu. It doesn't show up when I hold the option key when turning on the computer. Instead, I have to choose windows and a list of items shows up asking me which OS I want to boot. If I pick Ubuntu, then Ubuntu loads. If I choose windows, then I get an error message and it won't let me boot into windows. What's the deal? Why did Ubuntu interfere with my Windows partition when I clearly installed it on its own partition?
