Mac OS X Won't Start

Hi! I was just using my 13" MBP and using Parallels when the whole computer locked up. I had to turn off the computer by holding down the on/off button.

Unfortunately, now the computer will not start up in OS X.

Interestingly, I had linked my Windows side of the computer so that it can be opened in Parallels or Bootcamp; I can get the Bootcamp Windows side to start up with no problems (I'm using it now to write this).

Any tips on how to troubleshoot this?

I don't know. But if you just search the forum you'll find scores of such threads with hints and answers in them..
