Hi I need some help getting a new web browser for a iMac G3 (powerPC 400Mhz, 128MB RAM, 8MB Video memory.) Am using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.1 for Mac but am looking for a better one, Firefox 2.0 isn't supported and woud like any advice you all can give.

Opera or iCab.

Would second this -- you can find links to both at Version Tracker. I used iCab quite a bit in my 9.2 days and while it's not going to be blazingly fast, it's going to be your best bet.

You could also use Netcape 7.0.2 -- it'll give you results equal to what you're getting with IE 5.1.
 
i would disagree ns 7.0 is equal to ie 5.1

but yes, icab 3.03 is a huge improvement from its earlier version, much more standard compliant now. its probably better than opera since opera only has version>=7 for os9.
