Mac OSX 10.6.6 HP Printer Software Update 2.6

Hi
Just Installed HP Printer update 2.6 on my Mid 2010 iMac 27" through Apple Software Update
The update has caused my printer to not be able to print.
error messages are:

• Printer offline. when its on.
• Unable to Send Print Data

Does anyone know how I could uninstall this update?

Did you try deleting and re-adding the printer?

Yes unfortunately it did not solve the problem.
