Hello
Just joined MacRumors today.
Reason? I retired and want to work on my MAC in FCP 7.0.3 and using ITunes and play the stored movies on my new TV Samsung QLED 55" in combination with the Apple TV 1.
I run I Tunes on my MAC and on my MBPro 10.11.16 El Capitan

iTunes should give me same information on both systems, but it differs. What is on my MAC is not on my MBPro storage iTunes Home video's.
Odd!!
Also my password works through my MBPro, but.... not anymore on my MAC. Updates not available anymore.

Who understands my problem and can give me a clear picture about how to solve my problem.

Thanks for your hopefully great help.

What models of Macs are you referring to exactly? A MacBook Pro and what is the other one?
Anything that is capable of running 10.11.6 is still a fairly recent system.

This forum is for PowerPC macs from 2006 and older. While we do talk about early intel macs quite a bit recently, El Capitan capable Macs usually don’t fit that category save for the MacPro 1,1.

I am having a hard time deciphering what your problem actually is though, regardless of what Mac you have.

Hi,

the other one is a MAC Pro 1,1
2 x 2,66 Ghz Dual Core Intel Xeon
11 GB 666 Mhz DDR2 FB-DIMM
ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512 MB Video
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

Okay, so you do have a Mac Pro 1,1.
Just so you know, it is possible to run up to 10.11.6 on that Mac. http://mac-yak.com/2019/05/26/how-to-install-el-capitan-on-a-11-21-mac-pro/

If I understand your problem, you’re trying to share your iTunes library from a MBP to the Mac Pro, and from the Mac Pro to a first Gen AppleTV?
