Hi everyone
I recently bought(last week) a Macbook pro 13" Intel i7 2.7Ghz, 4GB ram, 500GB HDD and this is my first ever apple computer. It was working fine in the first week, for the past few days the OS X keeps freezing up numerous times when I am running a program, the rainbow wheel appears and I cant even choose the Force quite option from the apple menu bar because the finder bar is frozen too and the keyboard commands don't even work, but the mouse cursor works. I even used the disk utility that was included on the OSX CD and the results were normal. This normally happens when I'm running safari, utorrent and Jdownloader.

Can anyone help me?
Thanks for your time
Lalaka

Since it's brand new why not make a Genius appointment and have them show you how to use your new Mac. Many Apple retail locations have free OSX tutorials too.

I had a similiar problem with my 13". Turns out a program I had installed was causing problems. I reinstalled the OS and didn't install that program again and its been fine for months now.
