Hi Guys,

I have a problem in that when i turn on my macbook it tries to boot into an instance of XP that has been long since removed.

I dont have any bootcamp windows installations, yet it is trying to loada legacy one.

I can boot into OSX if i hold down the left ALT key and select the disk.

Is there a file where i can edit which disk /os to load by default.

Cheers

Duff-Man says....you should just be able to go into your system preferences app and set the Mac OS as the default startup disc. If that does not work for some reason try zapping the pram (hold command+option+p+r at startup and let it "bong" twice)....oh yeah!

Just confirming that Duff-Man's solution works. I've had weird boot problems like this before, and this procedure fixed them.
