Mac P2P apps SUCK!!?? hello mac byebye p2p =(

so i dont know why i just cant find a good files sharing software for mac..

Poisoned : waiting..waiting..and never downloads! rarely does!

Azureus : I never NEVER get what im searching for...

LimeWire : isnt working anymore..when it launches..everything looks white..no text nothing! i just have to quite it...

i tried to delete it by app zapper and then delete anything has anything to do with it by finder search...and then re-download install it...but the same problem.... how to solve this??

or ... is there EVER any good app for files sharing for macs ??!!! :(

This isn't very helpful, but both Azureus and Limewire work fine for me. I would suggest the problem actually lies with your specific machine, as opposed to the overall software and hardware platform.

Don't know what you can do about that though.

torrent taks quite longgg to download...i use them for big stuff :rolleyes:

in Azureus i type somthing to search for..and i get results that have NOTHING to do with the keywords i entered...
 
BitTorrent (Azureus) doesn't work like "traditional" P2P. You have to go to a torrent tracker site and find torrents for what you want. Ummm... I've never used the built-in search in Azureus nor would I expect it to return any relevant (or illegal ;)) results.

For the rest, Acquisition (not free) is the best P2P app I've used to date, but those old networks (FastTrack, Gnutella, eDonkey, etc.) just aren't any good IMHO. You might want to give Xtorrent a try, made by the same developer.

You do know about torrents, don't you? No? ok. Download transmission and set it as default program for opening .torrent files. Well, that it. Choose your favorite torrent tracker (TPB or BTJunkie or mininova) and search for what you want there. When you find it, download the torrent file, transmission will automatically open downloading the file. The END.

They will be back up soon. Nothing happened to them. They are just updating their entire server line.

lucky u got in b4 me :p. demonoid has been having some really bad problems lately. anyways, there are heeps of other good torrent sites.

That's because Poisoned is PPC and hasn't been updated in a while. There was a Universal version somewhere (which worked) but the link no longer works.

Try looking for the torrent files on the internet maybe?

Java problems? I don't know but try opening the JAR file in the application package.
 
Frostwire for single songs.

Transmission/ favorite torrent site for everything else
