I'm sure that the answer to this is somewhere. I tried searching but I didn't really find what I was looking for.
I have ordered a 500GB Time Capsule.
I currently have a family Windows PC with an 80 GB HD running Verizon over an Actiontec router.
I will soon be ordering an iMac with a 320 GB HD.
I ordered the TC first because I wanted to have everything already set up. The printer is by the PC and so is the Ethernet cable for the internet.
Using the Airport software I can easily figure out how to set up my new network and get rid of my Actiontec. No problems there. My real question is:
Can I back up the Hard Drives of both computers using Time Capsule?
This might be a dumb question but I have 500 GB of space and I need 80 for the PC and 320 for my Mac when that comes. Also, the Mac part of it will be using Time Machine.
Is it possible to divide my Time Capsule between a Mac and a PC?
Also, can I backup my PC first and then backup my Mac when that comes or would I have to wait for my Mac?
