I just got my new Mac Pro and Apple Cinema Display at work. With my old set up I was using a Dell monitor and had it connected to a switch box so I could go between my Mac and PC, but now that I have the new Cinema display the tech dude who hooked everything up is telling me that there are currently no switch boxes that support the mini display port.

Does anyone know if this is true? Right now I have two monitors, mice and keyboards. I know I can hook the keyboard up to the old switch, but I'd still be stuck with two monitors and mice (since the magic mouse won't work with the PC).

I'd like to eventually run my PC stuff on my Mac with Parallels or VMWare, but right now there is a network issue so I need the PC for parts of my work.

don't know about that, but if you do have a second monitor, you could use synergy, it lets you share a mouse and keyboard between different computers,so when you move your mouse over to the other screen, the keyboard follows.
