Hi,

SO i love that i can go to contacts, click a name and call someone and speak to them via my Mac /iphone/speakers.. Is there am app that i can just dial a number and perform the same action?

It's the same app, FaceTime. See the text entry box that says, "Enter a name, email, or number?"

Question though, let's say I'm calling a number where I need to "press 1 for English"....there's no number pad in FaceTime and if I just press 1 on my keyboard nothing happens. Any way to enable this feature?

Get Keypad in the app store...only 99 cents and it works great!

Thanks guys! Just got it....although I'd think it would be a no-brainer for apple to just include it into FaceTime. How hard could that be?
