hi,

I still have a large aperture library I need to move over to photos as I don't have aperture on my new Mac etc...

One limitation I am envisaging is the size of my library (Keeping it within the constraints of iCloud storage plans) and how to auto-archive photos from my Mac to an external hdd photo library (named Photos Archive).

This would be ideal to be able to set it to auto download from iCloud & move the file with the edits attached (not flattened) to the archive either after X years or if the ICloud photos library exceeds a set quota.

I currently have 400gb of photos, many are RAW. I'd like to be importing them in raw onto my iPad pro and not worry about the iCloud size getting so big.

I don't mind paying for a good size library but when I'm storing photos from over 5 or 10 years ago in raw it's very unnecessary and costly.
