Mac Photos app Sequoia, all pictures are Recently Archived

I just migrated to a new MacBook Air with Sequoia. The "Recently Archived" folder now seemingly contains all my photos. Why is this? Shouldn't they just be in my library ? Have I done something wrong when importing? Hope someone can help.
