Hi
I would like to sell a Mac plus 1MB
M00001A
With ORIGINAL keyboard and mouse.
It powers up as it should but needs a boot disc i have think.

Any interest in this out there?

You can sell it on eBay. Someone will buy it. Unfortunately you don't have enough posts to sell here. Which is supposed to be done through the Marketplace forum.

Just FWIW, it my experience the Plus is a "hard sale". It's a good entry point for someone wanting to get into the original M0001 style Macs, but it's also plentiful since it was made for a really like time(up until a year or two back it actually had the record for the longest production run for an unchanged model). I have a couple sitting in storage because I couldn't sell them for enough to make it worth my while to ship them.

Also, the floppy disk drives in these congeal with old grease that turns to peanut butter, and if you try to use them you're likely to kill the eject gear. Even if you get your hands on a boot disk, I would suggest not attempting to boot unless you have serviced the drive. There are how-to guides out there on taking it apart, cleaning, and regreasing yourself. It's not a terrible job, but if selling I'd either do this first or sell it as-is.
