I just gave that a option a try and it did not behave as I expected. I thought it would just sync my System Preferences options such as desktop and screen saver and stuff, this way I would have a consistent desktop on my laptop/desktop. At least that's what the icon seemed like it would do.
However, it seems to copy all your preferences that live in ~/Library/Preferences. So when I went to open up my apps, the windows were all messed up since my laptop screen resolution is smaller than the desktop one.
Don't know if anyone else thought it would behave the same way I thought but I figured I'd point it out in case anyone is gonna use it.
