Hello Everyone
I am a new member in this forum. Please excuse me if this topic has been opened before. I searched but could not find anything related to the topic.
I have a few Mac Pro 1.1 computer. I want to install and use a PC motherboard and processor in these cases.
There is no problem with the installation of the motherboard and processors.
What I want is to convert Mac PSUs to Standard ATX PSUs.
Mac PSUs have high wattage values. I want to convert these PSUs to Normal ATX PSUs.
Does anyone have any experience in this regard?
I found pin connections for Mac PSUs. The 3.3 Volt, 5Volt and 12 Volt pins are clear, but how and through which cable should I send the heat values to the motherboard to operate the power supply fan. If anyone has experience or knowledge in this regard, I am waiting for your help.
I didn't try this operation before maybe I can forget some trick and importand something, and I can make mistake.

Does anyone have a guide to converting a Mac PSU to a 24 Pin ATX PSU?
I am waiting for your advice.

Someone has indeed done what you've mentioned (used a Mac Pro 1,1 case for ATX components), but it looks like they didn't try to use the original power supply and just used their own ATX PSU. Have you considered doing that, instead of trying to make the original PSU work with an ATX motherboard?

Thank you I saw that topic and smilar. All of them usually Put the Pc ATX Power supplay to system.
But I want Convert To Mac Psu To Standard PC ATX Power suplay.
in my country I should pay 200 usd For 900w qualty power supplay. If I can convert it will be nice.

Sorry I don't have the ultimate answer for you. Just some guidelines in the link below. J1 & J2 are the same, J3 is different but same function (12V + GND). C to the mainboard. As this is 2006 model, the fan is controlled by the PSU itself, I guess. No signal line from PSU to or from mainboard.

If you have the appropriate crimpling tools and parts, you can convert the MP1,1 PSU to a nice and powerful ATX PSU, I guess.
For SATA power, I think you have 2 options:
1. Rewire the C connector.
2. Salvage the circuit board of a 3.5" HDD external box. This circuit convert 12V to SATA power, with ready-made SATA power female socket... easy to use and cheap. Just remember the power current of it might only support 1 HDD at a time (no limit for SATA SSD, though)

Thank you, I Know All pinout I order already connectors for make a new PSU to 24Pin Atx Cable. But I just want to know some tricks and tips. Example in standart Pc ATX power supplay have (Negative -12 V) and (Negative -5V) cable but Mac PSU not have this -12V and -5V, I guess Atx PSU can work without Negative Volts Becouse system need Negative Voltage for old Serial and Parallels ports only. But I am not sure. andI don't know What isthe "Power Okay" cable, Also I Should read PSU heat from temperature Sensor for drive fan and control speed.

You are trying to override a self-control system. I guess MP1,1 is not even ATX standard. It's AT standard, perhaps...
I hope the below conversation will answer your question. If you still insisted on controlling the PSU fan from your desktop, I suppose you would have to build it yourself from scratch. It's a serious hack for me (i.e. impossible).
