Mac Pro 1,1 recent mouse stutter - regardless of OS or mouse

My Mac Pro recently started giving me mouse stutter. At first I thought it was my wireless mouse (non-apple), so I switched to other mice (one an HP, the other the original mac mouse that came with my Mac Pro) and still see the same problem. Also, I see the same thing whether I'm running on MacOS or in Windows via Bootcamp. Clearly appears to be a hardware level issue within my Mac Pro, but not sure what, if any thing I can do about it. Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestion, but my problem isn't with the monitor or with tracking (I use a textured mouse pad and have tried with three different mice) - and it used to work fine until about a month ago...

If you have problem on all Macs 5 USB 2.0 ports, it would be interesting to try mouse on PCIe USB 2/3 controller.

You are correct - the problem is with all the onboard USB ports! I have a USB hub on my monitor and once I plugged my BT USB into one of those ports, it works beautifully! Thanks!
