Mac Pro 1,1 wi fi issue in Yosemite

Hi,
I just started having wi fi connection drops every couple of min after cycling wifi on and off.
Tried all the basic fixes short of reinstalling Yosemite but no luck. I'm running latest update for Yosemite.
Maybe i should move forward to El Capitan?

Thanks for any ideas :)

I forgot the most basic fix, so i moved the computer about 5" and connection has been solid for the last few days.
