Im running Yosemite latest version on my 2,1 mac pro, I have installed a PC Saphire 7970 GPU and while it does work in slot 1 at x16 (without boot screens) I am getting graphical lag and issues in the OS. The other problem is the memory on the card is usually hovering above 50% usage or more at all times..even at idle. The card is shown as an AMD 7xxx Series. Is there something im missing like needing to flash it?
