I did all of the appropriate cleaning/tinting and horizontal line. I put the heatsink down on the CPU, but I couldn't tell if it was seated properly, so I lifted the heatsink up and re-attached. Will this screw up the thermal compound seal now? Once you lay it down on the CPU do you only get one shot at it to get it right? Also, about how long until my core temps are more or less where they will be. My Core 2 temp is about 10C hotter than the others initially. Lastly, on the Mac Pro which CPU's are which, as in the top heatsink and bottom?
