After I lost my primary hd I have had some eratic behavioer. lost my iphoto file, it takes you out of pages on the net just to name a few.
any ideas.

A better title would be nice.

Run Disk Utility and repair permissions. Then verify the disk. If it comes back negative, pop in Install Disk One and boot from it.

Run Disk Utility from the Utilities menu (don't mess with installing anything) and repair the disk.
